N95 8GB phone memory problems -Memory full.Delete some data from phone memory.

Hi

i have problem which I cant figure out, at times, my phone states - 'phone memory full, delete some data'

I have checked the file manager for the phone memory and get the following readout

134MB memory in use
136kb free memory
17kb calander
58kb contacts
129kb documents
427kb MIDP apps

obviously I do not have vast amount of images or messages clogging up the pohone memory but what i cant figure out is the 134MB for memory in use and 136KB memory free? I have no other apps running and always save new software to the mass memory....plz help me plz

any help greatly appriciated

Have you tryed to flash your phone? Do you have any log from box operation?
You have to give us more details of what you did or didnīt with your phone...

In my experience a fullflash might solve your problem. Lotīs of bb5 phones claim to have memory full when in fact is empty... a good flash will solve your problem...

Regards,

Alex

Flashing the N95 8GB will not solve this problem because the flash process does not clear the mass memory. you will need to format the Mass Memory manually by going into Applications>File Manager>select Mass Memory > go to options and choose "Format"

And its done!!!

let us know whether this solution worked
