you always need a master - minor are only updates - mostly without mcusw file but with ppm and content

Hi,

No you are wrong.

Best thing to do is:

Install correct version of Pheonix needed for flashing (there is three versions currently used at the moment, the latest one with it's bugfix patch is suitable for any handset).

So - install latest pheonix first, then follow on with installing your major package and then any minor packages that are available.

NOTE: In some cases there is a MCU inside the minor package - this is for tiny bug fixes etc, and sometimes - you dont need the latest minor packages.

If your phone's product id is listed in the major package then you will be fine to flash that to it, but if it's not listed - but listed later on in minor packages - then install the major package and specific minor package you need.

Little Tip: always download and check service bulletins prior to downloading any major or minor package.

br,
Danny.

For I-Mode you will need another flash package: RM-36_dp_v_2.00_MCUSW2.062305_IMODE_EURO.exe

Thanks mobilextreme,

You have a good flow of uploads
I'm so close finding the last needed files the RM-55 - the only one i miss is the major package: RM-55_RD_DP2.0_v2.0_EMEA_SW11.0.034.exe

Is it available on rapidshare?

TIA
/Perus

Ha, that 6233 firmware doesn't relate to me anyway.

Thanks though, anyone know about APAC E61 firmware as NSU says there is no new updates
