Nokia X6 Downgrading

Hello!

I own a Nokia X6. Long story short, I went to the market and the guy over there updated the firmware with version 21 (European). The problem is the touch screen is not working properly. Especially, near the corners I can not touch any button (onscreen). Its like the calibration is faulty but as you might no there is no calibration option for X6 (capacitive touch screen).

I do not own any box, my question is should I try to downgrade it to Version 20 available through Nokia Software Updater. Is it alright to do so or will it kill my set? If there is another solution, please help me out.

Thanks

You can't downgrade X6 even if you have all available nokia boxes. And I don't think the problem is from firmware.

Thanks all. I am not sure if its a screen problem since everything was working great till I updated it to Version 21. I had no issue when it was on version 10.

It might be a LCD problem, but I would suggest you to reflash the phone with the same (exactely the same) version of firmware. You can try to use e.g. Phoenix. Maybe the guy who upgraded the phone, did not do that correctly...
