i have tested today and after clean pc manualy just install deigo then phoniex no problem at alll

I don't know how many times I tried but once I had followed word to word the tutorial to instal Pheonix, the screen just keeps saying RETRY. I was fast enought to click the Crack but it still going on with RETRY. I can't install Pheonix at all, I have tried on my friend computer, it still can't not install at all. PLEASE HELP ME. I NEED TO REMOVE VODAFONE FIRMWARE AS ITS NOT ALLOW ME TO INSTALL ANY SOFTWARE ON MY NOKIA 6630

I have the same problem my firts time.

Here a solution:

Put "phoenix crack all" on c:\windows\system32 folder NOT c:\windows\system, immidiately press Retry on phoenix installation dialog box button.

It work for me.


And remember to put crack "phoenix 2006" in your phoenix folder.
By default on XP english version is c:\program files\nokia\phoenix BUT IN MY COMPUTER DEFAULT FOLDER IS c:\programmi\nokia\phoenix.

Ok?

ONLY AFTER PRESS RETRY!!!!
BUT DO IT IMMIDIATELY! Don't wait more than 1 or 2 seconds!

When installation done, install
crack_dongle_phoenix_2006
on your phoenix folder.(folder where is located your phoenix .exe file)
Then don't start phoenix. First REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER!.

It's easy.

PS remeber to install Diego 307sp2 before install Phoenix 2006.

I can't install as you instructed me. Properly better to drop the phone in the shop for service it. Its annoyed me 2 days for installation. Thanks for your supportive. !!!

after i installed the phoenix it will prompt me to restart the computer so i click on restart after the phoenix will try to register all components. after the registration it display an error message registration failed. And when i tried to run the phoenix it gives an error message........

Here my personal solution:
uninstall all applications about nokia from Installed applications panel of Windows XP.(like phoenix, fls4, dk2, sw update, connectivity drivers, diego, pc suite etc)
Now use a registry cleaner to clear your system's registry from invalids keys.
(make a registry backup first)
After that reboot your computer and retry to install diego 307sp2 first and phoenix 2006 after!
This way works great.

It's really simple. Once you have installed correctly Phoenix and last phone's Firmware, you are capable to work on it.

Plug in phone's DC cable and make sure to have battery 100%load.

Plug USB cable in your pc and phone to USB cable.
Wait for Windows XP to recognize phone's hardware.
Open Phoenix. Go to Manage connections.
Select "New connection", then "USB connection" and make "Automatic USB confuguration".
Now if Phoenix has correctly identified your phone, in the bottom bar you can see phone's model and firmware versions.
If it didn't identify your phone, try to restart phoenix or press "Scan product" over File menu.
Now go on Tools->Options->Product Polling and select "Automatic polling". This is an useful function to avoid Phoenix lost connection with phone.

Now surf over "Flashing" menu and select "SW Update".

Let Phoenix to identify your Model and "Product Code". Now it will select all needed files for you.(only two files are needed for unbranded euro models)

Usually you would have to only change "PPM File".(Where are stored languages, settings etc)
Select a "PPM File" containing your language.
Do not change "Image File" or "Product Code" if u can't understand what you are doing.

Select only correct "Image File" and "PPM File". Be sure that "Image File" and "PPM File" are from same Firmware version or your phone will be unable to boot.

Press "Start" and quietly wait for the end.


If Phoenix 2006_34_2_56 quit without errors during firmware update, don't worry.

Restart Phoenix, make it reidentify your phone that was in upgrade mode.
It will ask to you for complete upgrate.


This a simple guide. Nobody help me to learn. I learn by myself.
So take it easy. If you encounter some problems buy JAF or use Nokia Centers Assistance, if you are not are able to use it.
I make some errors to learn and i spent a lot of money over phones to learn.
Well i think you can just "try" at your own risk before to be sure have learned.

That surely does sound simple; and it did look simple, too. 6270 and 6280 were fun to flash. But then I killed a 6680 and N70. Phoenix recognizes the phone and sends ADL loaders. Then the phone is detected as Nokia BB5 ADL parent and Nokia BB5 ADL generic in Device Manager, but Phoenix cannot communicate with it. So flashing fails.
