Problem with stereo headset on E50 - GSM-Forum

Hi,
i buy stereo headset but they sounds mono.
Can you tell me how to change pins in cable to listen stereo?

I found pin assignment and for handsfree is shown right six pins.
2 for microphone and 2 for left and 2 for right channel.
But right channel is "mute". Nothing hear.
Left is working OK.

I prepared one file with only left channel (right channel is mute) and one with only right channel.
When i listen these 2 files they sounds equally - only hear left channel.
The same is position with original handsfree (mono). I hear these two files in left ear. This is not right, i want to hear only file with record left channel.

I make conclusion that my phone (Nokia E50) is sounds only mono. Why?
I think it should be stereo.

What is the right connect of left and right headset?
How phone understand thath i plug in stereo headset, not mono?

maybe u didnt activate the stereo headphone. Try this go to Configuration-Accesesories-TTY- change the option when say USE TTY put on YES. that should work.
