What's FPS-21 and PK-1 use for? - GSM-Forum

Hi all,

I got a FPS-21(with active SX-4 card) and a PK-1 (dongle) from my friend, but i don't know what's use for of
these equipment ? What's the advantage of FPS-21
comparing other repair tools(like JAF) ? Beside flashing
nokia phones, is there special use of FPS-21 with SX4 card?

i am sorry for these simple questions, but i am jackeroo. pls tell me something,

It's a full complite prof. tools for service level 3\4, and if you have activated SX-4 (Tuscon server) - you is luke guy! But SX-4 time to tine need to reactivated, so if you have acsess to registrate SX-4, contact me i'll answer moore.

That two instruments should be pair without the PKD 1 dongle you cannot run the FPS 21.

When installing the Phoenix Service Software insert first the PKD dongle in the printer port and after success installation insert the FPS 21 via usb cable and install the drivers.

The SX4 card is only for energy management calibration, for RPL card you need to have the special card for NOLO and TUCSON server this time its been disabled on the server . They already start destroying the card even own by their service partners. Nokia already knows about the backdoor business.

About energy management you should have also special JIG for energy management calibration including ask to RPL process wihout this special you cannot run the entire process.

no you cant tune without jig and wavetek

Can i make this jig myself?
the jig is use Fbus connect to phones?

i could copy the inside circuit if i got a jig for sample

Can copy and it will turn out, but it is not necessary so to strain.
I too had such thought - to alter the universal adapter under fps. Like has copied correctly, and the phoenix swore that the adapter a clone! Make easier - buy jaf or mt and use sx4 a card together with them. Under these box there are universal adapters f-bus through them and work.
