Member: 1034 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  Dead SH888 Now the phone only powers up when I remove SIM card, if I try with SIM card, phone looks dead, no power up, no click or lights. Can anybody help?? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Please help. |

Member: 311 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 |  Try another card, and/or try connect ericsson cabel from phone to PC, run hyperterminal with direct connection to COM1, set port 115200,8,N,1 and power up phone. You will see more symptoms.... Jakub |

Everything goes ok until "clearing locks ........................ ok" "EE error" "EE error" The phone still works, but still unlocked to network. Any ideas how to unlock this phone ( Ericsson S868 )? Member: 707 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  Hi Liquid, Yes, I tried using Zuleaīs 5.2 directly from DOS. Itīs the first time I try to unlock 8x8 model! My cable works fine with 6xx/7xx. I buy it from www.gsm-cables.com! It is supposed to work also with 8x8 phones. Any ideas? Thanx |

Member: 1034 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Anybody got .shx files for sh888 before october 98? I've got a flasher (thanks NBG!!) but th efirmware doesn't load to the phone. It goes thru whole process on screen, bu tphone is still dead when I insert SIM. I also tried reading phone with terminal, like suggested by Jakub, but I can't see anything. Any ideas?? Jim |

I have once managed to send a flash file to the phone, at least the program went through the motions on screen. If anyone knows how to flash a sh888 via cable, please share it with us. |
