Member: 3609 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Display problem after unlocking T10s 00w48 I have a T10s 00w48. After unlocking the phone, the display isn't working anymore. I've tried to flash several .bin-files, but that doesn't help: No display (I can call with it, but I can't see anything). The display isn't bad, because I've already tested the phone with another (properly working) display. But it won't work in this phone. Could it be a wrong contrast-setting? Is there anything I can do about this problem? Thanks in advance, greetings Rik. |

AT commands for Ericsson T10s: There is a command that does blank the display: AT*EMMI=0,0,0 The first 0 switches off display, the second disables the keypad and the third switches off the backlight. I don't know if all ericsson phones accept this command, if it does, you can try to give the following command: AT*EMMI=1,1,1 This should turn 'm all back on.You can check if the phone accepts this command with AT* or check the status of it with AT*EMMI? or AT*EMMI=? Use hyperterminal to do this (set it to use the com port your cable is on). If you use AT* you get a list of available commands for that unit. 2. Try with 00 or 01 or 02 at address 1F14 in eeprom. Hope one of these work for you! Regards |

Member: 3609 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank you all for your reply's... I've tried to use Hyperterminal, but when I switched on the phone, there was a lot of information scrolling over the screen, but I wasn't able to type an AT-command. How can I change the value at the adress 1F14 in the eeprom? Do I have to use Ponyprog in combination with an eeprom-interface? Do I have to desolder the eeprom from the phone first then, or can I leave it there. I've done something like that before with a Nokia 3210 with 'contact-service'-problem. I managed to fix that one, now I hope I can fix this T10s *** well. I would be very thankfull if one of you could tell me more about it. With kind regards, Rik. |

In that way, the phone is ready to reply to your AT commands. Don't know what all that info is, but it does that only if you power on the phone with a connected cable. I think you can change the value if you save the eeprom and then use a binary editor and upload it back. (Although i don't think you need that if you've done above steps and just use the AT*EMMI=1,1,1 command.) Good luck! |

Member: 1623 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Hello, Use Bartek 1.6 to change eeprom values. I used it in A1018 to change address 1F14h. But use "Read File with Start Offset".This takes short time to upload eeprom. For example : You need to change 1F14h. Select "Read file with Start offset" Write 01F14 to "Start Address" section. write 0001 to the "Bytes to write" press "write selected area". Regards... |
