I have problem in ATR 5.0,5.2,5.3 - GSM-Forum

Hi to All.

I downloaded before ATRSERV 2.2 , 4.0 , 4.1 and they worked well.
After I downloaded three programs which names are 5.0 , 5.2 and 5.3 but they didn't work in my computers.I have 2 computers and I am using Win95 in Pentium 120 and Win98 in Pentium II-300.When i start the program , PC hangs.there is no solution except RESET the PC.
I encountered some problems in BE134 but problem was in Win95.after installing Win98 , problem has gone.
Do you have any IDEA about this ATR 5.X's ?

hi!
same with my laptop. it doesnt hang but stops and says error. i heard on other group that a system file should be modified. dont know which and what exactly. if you figured it out and solve your problem just let me know.

anyone know about this?

same here, with my laptop compaq armada pentium II 366 win 98,after downloding(and scanning for virous!)ATR 5.3 laptop froze! had to take the battery off and disconnect from the mains!! and restart the pc!then i scanned my pc again and deleted all the files relating to ATR 5.3!!NOTHINGS WRONG WITH MY LAPTOP BY THE WAY!) MR philippino!

The author of this software 'Zulea' has claimed that someone is using his identity and is producing these programs that damage phones. All the software I have tried made by him has not worked. It has put me off using software produced by him as nothing positive has become of it. Not worth taking the risk after 2 damaged phones. I suggest trying other software, or before you do use it, research it and find out if it can do what it is actually claiming.

I have used both 5.2 and 5.3 and 2618 and T20 new prog on T10, T18 etc to remove sp with no problems on my compaq presario 1200 laptop. No problems so far.

I have no problem on my laptop, Fujitsu/Siemens, AMD 400. Today i unlocked without any problem T28 with soft from january 2001.

hi people, keep calm, Zulea is not writing ATR 5.3 to damage your ´old´ phones, he just give it for free because he want to recover some atention and becouse some people was complaying about 4.2 work better that 5.0 (I think that quickly undongle of this program make Zulea put bugs in it). I have been using ATR 5.x in my laptop with several phones and allways work fine, however in my friend laptop (Dell Celeron) seems not to work, with T28 for example says something like Error 04, after looking for we find that com ports of the laptop dind´t supply enough power..perhaps would be this, or not, I can say that in my ibm laptop 380xd (P2 266mmx,128mb,4gb) works fine, never failed.

As invisible mentions, i think some laptops do not provide enough power or voltage, toshiba particularly known for this problem

so like everyone mentioned before, its not atr that is the problem, its the laptop? does such problem arise for desktops?

maybe if your poort setting are wonrg configured...
I have no problems with any atr.
VERY ahppy with the FREE GOOD working programs.. (To be sure you have realy program from zulea then go to zulea.com)

Hi guys!,

Amongst the rest of you, I probably own the worst laptop. It's an AMD K6-2 that has no brand whatsoever on the housing. Anyway, 5.0 works best for me. I encounter some problems with 5.3. After unlocking a1018s' the program says ERROR, check phone selection (or something like that). Anyway, I don't think Zulea would ruin his name by giving away fake software. If the programs wont work for you, you should probably ask X-shadow for assistance. He seemed to have all the answers. Trust me. He's good! If you guys have time, please send me an e-mail of whats goin on. Thanx
