Trouble with T28 - change IMEI - works on all others but not this one? - GSM-Forum

Hi all,

I have this T28, the label (sticker) on the back under the battery has been removed, but software (*>*<<*<*) says the following:

991022 1210
prgCXC 125115

When I attempt IMEI change with datex 2.2, it does the whole thing ok. Asks me for new IMEI, and then erases flash, and flashes (I am using 'T28.bin' for datex 2.2).

When complete, the phone accepts all sim cards etc, but IMEI has not changed.
The same method with 2.2 I have used on several T28's with no problem.

What is wrong with this phone? Is there any thing else I can try?

Is there some other soft. I can use, and if so, please send it to me, or tell me where to get it.

I was able to change IMEI of T10s using NE-Tools v121.Do not know whether NE will accept T28.

Nope ne-tool doesn't accept t28

What abou Cage convertor...? do some things with flashes and imei but do not know witch things cause i never use this (only convert)
