Instruction is very simple....

1. plug your cable to the phone. Use Fbus cable
2. click online unlock on BB5 maintenance tab
3. wait for it to unlock...
4. As DrMobile posted, USB cable is not supported yet.

well .... first try GET codes for 6120c, 6500s from provider and then post here about "cheaper" . Time for reciving codes = 1-5 days , UB online unlock = ~ 30 sec.

Yes, u can do it mate, your phone will be repaired and unlocked :) ... U will save money for paying RPL for Operator: FFFFF ....

I unlock phones with this method (NOT ONLINE) and works verry good and if now will work "online" i mean 1 min. it will be cool!!!

I think this is the best update we are eer gonna get for nokia BB5s. I guess mt team struggled to nick this solution from ub team before release thats why the real heros stand unrivalled. Excellent work UB team. Have supported UB team in the past and will support it in the future!!!

Thus far I have attempted an N80, two 6500 slide's and a 6280 with damaged testpoints. The N80 will not unlock returning a non-specific error, both 6500 slide's will not unlock returning a 'Not Supported' error and the 6280 unlocked without problem. I will be very interested to see which models I can unlock with this solution during this week and I look forward to UB resolving the issues with 'Not Supported' models ;-)
