Error in unlocking New Version Nokia 1600


I have some nokia 1600 that are locked to vodafone Australia, I have tried to unlock them but there is an error. I have tried the code calculation as well but still can't unlock them. Pls any suggestions??

I have also tried with Twister but after unlock is done, it's still locked.

You can flash it down to version 3.05 then unlock. It works but for some reason(maybe I'm missing something here), after I flashed it, on the screen it shows all funny munbers and crosses. I did a factory reset and also tried to flash it back to version 4.03 but all the funny munbers and crosses are still there.

hi,
did you try using the provider code given by Twister? if still locked maybe you need to flash the phone...

hi guys
i have same problem. my members take me 1600 from australe. i'm use griffin and ufs-3, can not unlock phone. how resolve problem. any one successfully unlock 1600? tell me. need solution

I had unlocked 1600 with JAF and I did not have any problems.I had also used UFS calculator in the past and it had worked at some of them(but not all because you have to know exactly the country and the network in wich the phone is locked)
