I am NEW to Universal Box...Please Help Me.

I am new to the Universal Box and am having a little trouble understanding the instruction manual.

First I want to flash DCT-4 handsets to the originally installed software (i.e. T-Mobile firmware) while removing all the user's data from the handset, such as contacts, pics, messages, call logs, downloaded stuff and what not, while leaving the default wallpaper and ringtones.

Could someone please send me some thorough step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

I have already bricked a pair of 6101 and I think I have one 6101 successfully flashed, but I am not sure. It wiped the entire handset, including all the default wallpaper and ringtones.

Thanks.

The Universal Box User Manual is not a detailed (or well written) document on using the Universal Box. I was following the "steps" the manual laid out as I flashed the first 2 handsets that got bricked.

It was when I did the Full Erase when the handsets got bricked. I clicked the button, the Box and the software did its thing, then presto, the handset would no longer power up at all. The handset was completely dead.

I think so. I am not really sure. I load the "erase.fia" file. click flash. It seems to erase everything, most of the time. I really just want to erase the user data (contacts, txt and pic messages, any videos, music, downloaded stuff, and photos). I am not really sure as to what I am doing. I am an absolute noob to this.
