Hi Guys,

I am using an n-box with HWK...i am kinda new to HWk & i am having trouble connecting a N70 phone....when i press "check" button UFS gives me a an error...i am using a 7 pin N70 cable....

can any one tell me the proper method to connect this phone to UFS

Give us the screenshot of the error it gives you .. maybe phone damaged

Does the phone turn onn ?

It gives me an 1st boot error, than Rebooting mobile....the phone swiches on by it self wen i connect it to the box....i donno how to connect this phone...pls help guys

Why r u trying to flash it ?
what is the problem .. maybe it has a terminal short ...

Does the phone switch on and off on its own with battery..? If yes than cable problem if no than CPU

In simple words is the phone working normally ?

besides if u put the cable the phone shud simply show Nokia on the screen not turn on ... So maybe there is a short circuit

use 5 pin cable with external power or vpp

I dont what u mean by "VPP"....can u tell me more details....i am using a 7 pin cable with 9v batter connected...i cudnt get the phone to connect the UFS....i am providing the log below:

vpp connector is to attach any bb5 cable before connect to ufs. it has a big head and RJ45 connector

Possible causes:

1. Bad contacts with phone
2. VBAT Voltage low
3. You are using 7 pin cable to bb5 adapter which can kill your phone.. If you are using 7 pin, connect directly to ufs instead of going through vpp dapter..
