you have to chang a new uem than you can write new imei by rpl file ask2 through Tornado or griffin

Change IMEI is only possible in ASIC2 without desolder. And this action is limited to a few units, doesn't work well with all the versions

hi 007tiger.
with this handset type you MUST replace NEW Uem and than write Imei (rpl). there is no Patching solution at the moment.
there is no need to back-up if you want to write new imei.

Sorry, I do not understand correctly.
When I read the Uem, it saves a ****_back.rpl file
Then it ask me, if the IMEI is correct, and I type in a new IMEI.
Is it nacessary to put the (-) inbetween?
After that it ask for product code and then the box code. Then it writes a ****.ask file.
What is the next step?

the steps you were doing got nothing to do with writing new imei. I repeat, only solution is to replace IC Uem. try search and you will find more technical information about this topic.

Replace UEM (you have to buy a blank UEM) , generate rpl with whatever IMEI you want (asic6) and write it to phone (UEM and flash) .
