Howto unlock F2300 with lg_gsm

Hi

How do i unlock a LG F2300 using the lg_gsm module.

What cable ?

How ? With battery, without battery, power on/off ?

I read somewhere else that i need a C2200 adaptor and i have this but do i just plug the cable called "IP-HWK 24 PIN" into the C2200 and then connect this to the phone and the C2200 into the twisterbox ?

Have tried alot but when i press boot it just greys out for a second and then it returns. No text in the text windows ?

Good advice is welcome

Ok, thanks.

I have the 24 Pin HWK cable so then it should be pretty forward ..

I also have a C2200 adaptor cable and read somewhere that i might need that, can you say for sure that i just need to attach the HWK-24 pin cable directly to the twisterflasher and the phone..

Hi

Did exactly as you said but it wont work. When pressing the boot button it greys out for a second and then it just goes blue again and the unlock button is greyed out all the time.

I suspect that the cable might be faulty.

Does anyone have a schematic for the HWK 24 pin LG cable so that i can test if it is wired allright. It seems that the only component that is inside my cable is a 1N4007 and then offcourse some wires

Just follow shematic, and there should be no problems - tested, even with 1N4007 instead of 1N4001

diode is use only for protection and as gate any silicon diode will suffice or even a small signal diode. u can also use in4148 will do as long as u do it with correct polarity.........

Tested the cable today and found no errors when compared to the schematic posted in this thread.

Must be phone that is faulty in some way since it will not respond to the booting.

Tried it both with and without battery attached but nothing works. If i attach cable with battery on the phone it says "Charging" on the display, if it is not attached it does not say charging but still it wont boot.

Tried both the C version and the B version of the program but could not find the A version but i suspect that it wont make any change.

HI

But my cable IS one that i bought.

If i buy a cable and even test it with an ohm'meter and find that the connections are like the schematic, then what should buying another cable do ?
