Tested and 100% solution to install new HWK_Suite_Setup_v02.06.000.exe - GSM-Forum

1.-uninstall all drivers of your twister or tornado what you have

2-uninstall all OLD twister or tornado software in your PC

3-install new drivers for new saras box

4-after install the ufs box you can install HWK_Support_Suite_Setup_v 02.06.000.exe

5-after go
Start-programs-Saras soft-HWK-Utilties-Update HWK client

6-after update you can install
HWK_Suite_Setup_v02.06.000.exe

that is all and 100% worked
if you HWK is original ofcourse

thing is mate, its a case of 'different horses for different courses' with this suite?

Some pc's have no trouble installing, some pc's have lots of problems installing, so users get it sorted, many dont!

FAct is, its gliffy as hell and needs sorting a bit lively!

I mean the hwk setup exe has problems for users installing!

Maybe it is a problem on athlon or intel boards, who knows?

One thing i know for sure is that it needs to be dealt with before next release, when ever that may be!

Thanks a lot for sharing.One question that I would also be grateful for an answer is this:
Can you please give me the guidelines step by step of how to install the HWK SUITE on WINDOWS VISTA?
You see,I managed to install the previous SUITE-2.05.00 up to only 2.05.06.Anytime I tried to install the 2.05.07,the computer would automatically go off saying "there is Configuration Error in the System". Now I want to install the latest SUITE:2.06.00 and use it for my Powerflasher.
Please kindly guide me.

P.S. I still have Tornado +HWK SUITE v.2.06.00 which I am using on Windows XP,but I have been having problems with SOME Nokia 2310 telephones when flashing:CNT Extraction stage fails and the phones just die!

if you dont want to see errors the good steep is to uninstall first all existing old ufs suit in your system including drivers. reboot and install the new one.

thats what i do, and no prob occurs even during update..

so maybe you dont use before 2.05.007
that is your problem
you have not activated SEDBx
please update your HWK
or
i have wrote all the guide how you can do to install UFs 2.06.00
