Tried to unlock Samsung E250 but no joy - GSM-Forum

Hi there,

Searched forum, and found this method of unlocking E250:

1. Remove the battery
2. Insert the cable into the phone and HWK
3. Press Mobile Info
4. Press Unlock E2P

I have done this, using d800 rj45 to hwk cable, and the procedure successfully says done, but when i put sim from other networks, it still says network locked, this is a new handset, so any ideas?

Its ok managed to get it working a slightly different way, using combo of UFS read info and then entering codes.

1. Phone must be power off
2. Insert the cable into the phone and HWK wait a few secend
3. Press Unlock E2P
4. Phone is unlocked

pat mat, didn't i just say in my first post that i tried that method and it DIDN'T work? You just trying to up ur post count?

Is it simple E250 or is it E250V
Simple E250 you can unlock with unlock button (not E2P unlock) without batterie inserted.
Press *#1234# un phone keyboard to see which software is in the phone, and chech IMEI, maybe it is corrupted
