unfortunately, the call function doesn't exist. The model is PX310, Alcatel OT POP 7, and in specification on official page write VOICE CALL. I wanted to make possible voice call (not Skype, Yahoo,..), so for that I changed firmware. Maybe someone with same tablet clear that thing: it's possible to make voice call and with what PID?

As stated in specs, tablet have 3G connectivity, intended for DATA connection.

In theory, you can try to make it into "Phone", google for PHONE.APK,
and install it in tablet, if it makes call and works ... great, you have it

In South Africa, vodacom update firmware for Alcatel OT POP 7, "there is a firmware update available for you to have dialer and phone" and "Once this is done, you should be able to make calls using the Phone application on the menu list and dialing as per normal." So, i want to change PID with this South Africa firmware.

i try with phone apk and application is not installed, because "An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed". For change is necessary to root my device.
i connected my tablet again in OTU and find another package, but when started, after 1 hour, it's the same firmware. I deleted some application and disable another one and i try OTU again. Find packages to download and .. same firmware. From the tablet software is up to date(from both wifi or SIM).

P310X-2[X=A,B]ALZA1 -- Should be RETAIL PID, no brandings
P310X-2[X=A,B]VDZA1 -- This is probably Vodacom branded

So try with first one , ie: P310X-2AALZA1 / P310X-2BALZA1 ,
See what will happen.

i have one P310x it stuck on vodacom logo and there is no sticker at the back please help me to bring it back in menu
what should i do now , would really appreciate your help

i upgraded P310x with OTU butt still hang on logo
is there anyway to solve this problem

Backup nvram, full format, write pro_info,
Use otu updater again.
If still the same, then its hardware problem.

my p310x had virus so i was flashing with p310x firmware one i read from another p310x
so when it reached on 30% then flash stopped

i tried OTU i flashed with arabic firmware using SP tool bt no luck

please can you help me to get out of this mess

Full format, reflash. If still problems, change pc, charge battery, etc.

the p310x software posted here works perfectly with that of p310a.i have tested,works 100% with no issues at all.

I load 8GB ROM file for 4GB version tablet and it works fully normal, system show normal 2GB internal memory.
