Member: 88701 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 381 | Hi... You need to troubleshoot the ( speaker/ switch )flex connector on the main LCD. Or....if the buttons are not important....disconnect the flex completely...and run 2 wires from the flex connector to the speaker. Make sure the (speaker/switch flex).. that you tested with is good. :smokin |

Member: 88701 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 381 | Hi... The speaker/switch flex contains no active componants ...its just connections from the flex connector to the switches. You need to troubleshoot and find out which line is shorted. Remember to look not only to the speaker/switch flex ...but the main flex connector too. If its not possible to fix.... then 2 options... 1. Disconnect the speaker/switch flex ...and solder 2 wires to the speaker from the speaker/switch flex. 2. Replace the LCD. (keyboard Flex connector) ------> (speaker/switch flex)---->to switches and speaker :smokin |
