Network locked Milestone XT720 - GSM-Forum

Hai

I just bought 2nd hand phone Morotola Milestone XT720 during my visit to Korea few weeks ago. I believed that phone was tied up with SK Telecom. Same as reported by others, i went to SK Telecom, they asked to refer with Motorola but i dun hv that time bcoz i need to return home to my country.

After arrived in my country, when im putting my SIM card, the messsage appeared as follows:-
Network locked - upper right
USIM not recognised. Emergency call only.

I had tried to use unlock service but the problem is the phone never prompt any message such as "Enter code" etc.

Hope u guys can sort me out of this problem.

i have the same problem. how can i unlock this phone. i want to use in Bangladesh.
where to go when all the masters are here?

Singapore, Europe or flash the firmware in other countries! Do not accept the sim card inserted, the network will be prompted to enter the sim pin!

can you help me with unlock moto xt720
when i turn on my phone,he asked pin for network unlock.
how can i unlock this phone.i don't know this pass

My motorola XT720 also has the same problem, after inserting the SIM CARD and powering it, all what can I see on the screen is this:
* Network locked
* Not supported foreign USIM CARD
*Emergency calls only.
I would like to add that the zone phone and network actually is not the same since my country is Algeria and the phone is Korea manufacturer.
• My question is there anyone who had faced this problem and he had succeeded to fix it, I ask him to help me to fix mine.
