3250 dead after unlock - GSM-Forum

I was trying to unlock a 3250 according to the manual and after connecting testpoints for several times I was getting the following:

No communication with phone. Delaying 5 seconds.
No communication with phone. Delaying 5 seconds.
No communication with phone. Delaying 5 seconds.
No communication with phone. Delaying 5 seconds.

I read the info again and tried again, but after several tries the MT-Pro stopped reading the info. I assembled the phone back and now it does not turn on. I flashed the phone from 3.23 to 3.24 and it is not responding. Please advice SoftMobile or 911GT.

Maybe you made some hw damage when open the phone? Look around CPU it is not some resistor or capacitor missed.

I don't think I have damaged the board. I had the board connected to the Mt-Pro and was hitting Phone Info, simlock status, unlock and then I connected the Testpoints. But after several tries I did not get any response with Phone info being selected. I tried to power the phone up with no response and then I decided to flash the phone. The Mt flashes the phone completely, but at the end it says "phone not responding". It does not connect to the phone at local, test or normal mode.

SoftMobile any suggestions on how to revive this phone. Any help greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you flash it to latest version? Because it look like you downgrade the phone.

may be neighbour pins on a mcu is shorted and phone cannot be power on , see with microscop

911Gt you were correct!!! I bought the Tornado microscope and was able to see the pins touching each other. The phone was returned to life, but I tried a whole day and was not able to unlock the phone. I was always getting the following:

No communication with phone. Delaying 5 seconds.

I went ahead and returned the phone to the customer and lost another credit. This is my loss from 21 phones I have tried:

5300b Telcel Mexico Closed on Mcc Mnc: 334020
6131 Telcel Mexico Closed on Mcc Mnc: 334020
5200 Movistar (33403) Not Allowed and support have no valid reason
3250 Movistar (33403) Testpoints too small and destroyed with trying

I have invested a lot of money with Mt Pro and I have faced a lot of problems. I can say that I am in a border city and have to unlock phones from 4 networks. I honestly have faith in Mt Pro support to helps us out with all our problems, If not then it will be our most expensive and and biggest mistake.

There is no any box on market who can unlock it at the moment.
