tried flashing with america flash. now i get this:

Thank-you so much for that advice, however what I really need here is someone to help me out with figuring out exactly which files go with which phones. Yes it is my mistake that I used the wrong flash on this phone. Also I do not expect you to have all the answers in your 9 page new arm users guide. but how about some help here? I have a cingular usa w600i that I obviously flashed w the wrong file…. Could someone tell me which is the correct restore file to use for restore?? -thanks

Select W550 cid 31 no tp and write W550-CID 31-EROM.mcu
Then press ??? button and check it is your phone converted to RED
Select W600 cid 31 no tp2 and write desired files

Thanks for the help! I finally got past the “wrong model selection” however when following your advice and attempting flash “W550-CID 31-EROM.mcu” I get this message…….

Here are the files I used to recover the w600i; hopefully this may help someone in the future: (w600i_r7b039_NAM_1.mcu) + (w600i_r7b039_LAM_1.ppm) + (CustomizationRepair.rep) and what I got was an unbranded w600i walkman!
