Error unlocking W810i...now phone is dead! - GSM-Forum

I was trying to unlock a W810i, it got to the part to reconnect the battery then came up with a error "Flash restore file not exist!!!! Continue?" I pressed yes and then I got the error "Init EE Error:0001". What can I do now?? This is a customers phone. I have until tomorrow morning to have it in full working order!!

Okay I have just unlocked another phone that was locked to T-Mobile with no problems. I am having problems with the Orange network handset.

Flash the phone with W810 all in one flash file, then unlock it.
If software give you warning about FLR file not exist, then must flash the phone. No other way.

I have just flashed the phone with the all in one softwareand the phone unlocked fine, but now I get the error "Configuration error.Please contact your network operator or secvice centre" What do I do now???

Are you flash both files MCU and DEC?

Yes I have done both files.
I re-flashed the phone a second time with both files and all is working fine now. Thanks for your help on this. :-)
I wonder if this error only appears on Orange handsets???
