hi
modify your FBUS cable & use to flash phone.

smootny 07-02-2007 17:37

how modify ? change rj45 on rj 48 and add pins ?
or add some pins ?

sonkar 07-02-2007 19:19

This thing for N95 is anoying a lot people,i've 2 cables 1 with tx2 line and without,no one is working for N95,but i connect the cables to twister and the enters in test mode, but mt-box dont do nothing.
Both cables are modified.

911GT 07-02-2007 23:35

for flashing n95 you need to have a TX2. find shematic in forum and modify your cable then you have a BOOT OK

sonkar 07-03-2007 10:58

I have the schematic and i've checked my cable and everithing looks ok,i dont find any error in connections.

911GT 07-03-2007 13:02

then your rj-48 on a box is brocken may be.
click on 6th buton and send the log

HAROON's 07-03-2007 13:15

This is what i get:
Pins:
Mbus 1, Box Tx 1, Box Rx 0, Bsi 0
Boot...
Using Tx2 Data line.
Invalid response from RAP3 boot( cable problem/damaged RAP3 chip/damaged phone power circuit
============= Set FBus mode for info =============
Pins:
Mbus 1, Box Tx 1, Box Rx 0, Bsi 0
What can the problem be.When i connect cable to twister i've done factory defaults without any problem.I'm only having problem for flasing this phone, all other N series or E series without any problem,of course for other cables i use adaptor, this one i connect directly.

sonkar 07-03-2007 13:37

Sorry this is log when i use cable without tx line+adaptor

so, there're 2 options:
- make/modify cable become rj48/10 pins cable.
- modify mt-box 10 to 8 adapter, use 7th pin in rj45 (between vbat & bsi) to make tx2 line, connect to rx2 in phone.

regards
