s40 -- yes, no,1,2,3,up,down not working - GSM-Forum

this s40 was freezing when came to me so so i flashed it then i changed eep unlocked it and works ok , entering network, rings , except for 1,2,3,up , down, yes and NO

NO works when powering up the phone but after it doesnt work at all..

guys please tell me at least if it`s SOFT or HARD PROBLEM...

i think its software prob, becoz u say its after flashing, SO try a clean flash and eeprom file, if its like that, then change the keypad or open it and clean the key contacts, I think this problem occurs by some liquid goes into it,

i think is software pb too ...coz the phone can be started(that can be done only by pressing NO)... but i don`t have an "clean" flash and eep (this flash i used it before and worked ok)..so i assume it`s eep fault...

can someone help me with an eep file please ?? ([email protected])..or flash ..perhaps it`s incompatibility pb
