Member: 91451 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Sx1 Winswup Patch_mem SX1 WINSWUP PATCH_MEM, utility to patch WINSWUP memory. Code: APPLYING EXISTING PATCH: ---------------------- When patcher is running, execute WINSWUP. Patcher will pick up the version of the firmware and show it in "Current flash version:" area. Load a patch (in .sxp format) or simply copy it into the text area. Click "Apply patch". If there are any errors you are trying to patch wrong version of firmware or using an old patch. After successful operation, Status line will read "Patching OK". You can now start flashing using WINSWUP. CREATING NEW PATCH: ------------------- Using any hex viewer that can show memory of running processes, examine winswup memory. Once you have found what you want to change, record the offset and sequence of bytes you want to change. In Patcher enter them in format: address:olddata:newdata all in hexadecimal. Example: 303E050:5A:45 To make your patch complete, copy the memory position that Patcher picked up. WARNING: without MP offset you patch will not work at all! |

Member: 91451 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 1. you still need to copy MBM file from Z to E. or you could PREINSTALL Themerizer to E drive before flashing the patched firmware. 2. When you run patcher, there's a text box above patch text area. Caption says Current MP. When you load WINSWUP it automatically sets to a value, copy that value into the patch text area like: MP:12B0000 It is only needed when you create your own patch. It allows Patcher to determine the correct offsets on different machines (winswup does not always load to the same position). Clear enough? |

Member: 37807 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank you randomi for your answer now what I understand is: 1- copy the MBM file from Z to E 2- run the WINSWUP 3- run the patch 4-copy the MP:00000000 to the text area in the 5- apply the patch. 6-upload the firmware to my mobile. Am I righ randomi. I know I asked too much but I wish I just want to be sure b4 I start doing that. Thank you again |

Member: 91451 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 1-3, 5-6 correct for existing patch (included with patcher) you don't have to copy MP, it should already be there. also, MP should never be 0000000 |

Original mbm is in z (rom) and this patch enable to puts it in e/c (Flash) Now you can change your files, and put a "fullscreen" background. More or less, it is. |
