C35 dead after upgrade an downgrade - GSM-Forum

Hello , I tried to unlock a C35 with D2 Subset code and V05 , it worked and I updated to 16 . After unlock 16 it worked , too , but after upgrade to 18 it was locked again . The downgrade to 16 killed the phone , it's dead and no one Software ( 10 , 12 , 16 , 18 ) can find the EGold . What ca I do , plz help ?

flashback (heh cool game wasnt it?) to v18, it will flash, dont worry, sometimes when the eegold appeared, i tried it next day and everything flashed fine

right now (10 mins ago) i repaired a dead C35 with v18 and i am searching unlock solution.......)

I tried in now more than 20 times with V1801, swup doesn't find the EGold . What now ? Plz help

Sorry for the stupid question, but someone can explain me step by step how to upgrade/downgrade versions.
I have Swupinstall , Swup191 and all the flashes needed but I do not know how to use them.

I just need Swupinstall and only have to follow the instructions??

I only need the flash file that is also exec.??

What is Swup191 for??

If someone can take a minute to explain me I would be very greatfull.

it's not hard... First make sure you have a full battery. Connect your phone to the cable and make sure it's turned on. Run swupinstall.exe (only need to do this once) tell it what language to use and what comport to use for flash software. Usually com 1 and english will do fine. You'll notice a swup.ini file is now generated. Use the flash.exe (named something like c3i_1201.exe) to upgrade your phone and follow instructions on screen. Your phone will shut down. When it sais something about egold trying to connect press the power on button for a short time. Than it takes about 10 minutes to flash your phone.
