C45 on power only backlight works. - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions hope I am addressing correct post. I have unlocked a c45 using Ksie 5.1 in the past. The problem I am having is I have aquired another C45 but when powered on only the backlight comes on. I thought that maybe I could flash the phone using the above software. I tried to test my old phone using Ksie 5.1 and the serial cable but my computer doesn't recognize it. Software to read the phone book is OK?.
I have read other post that says that the Siemens cable may be to blame but I have previously sorted another phone and it has worked. I have upgraded the computer and software. Can anybody tell me where I am going wrong? Can anybody also suggest the original phone problem?

use frea man and unlock it again and maybe you have a lucky day ;-)

If you have bzzz ssound + backlight - you must make unlock.

If you have only backlight on starup -- try replace LCD
