I've seen that many modifies consist in the change of address of "Jump to a subroutine" instruction. After in a free location our big friends make their code...

So, is possible to copy the SMS managment of an S45i and paste into a free location of our SL45i?

We will have Long sms (700 chars)!!!

nice idea ... but it isn't so easy

[simple explain]
because you have to program in assembler.

assembler is a programming language, where so called jumps are declared directly. this means: jump to memory xxxx and if memory xxxx is 1111 jump to memory gggg.
those jump adresses are not the same in both firmwares so it is not so easy as you believe.
