How to replace ringing tone in flash? - GSM-Forum

Please tell me how to replace the ringing tone in the flash. I've used Siemens Flash Modifier of RizaPN to modify the ringing tone in my flash but the program doesn't display detail of melody type (Classical or Pop, etc...), it displays address of the melody type only so I don't know which ringing tones I have to replace.

It`s so easy!!
Numbering of Melodies in FFMod is same with the phone..
1-6 is Standart
7-24 is Classic ... etc.

But be carefly, FFMod have a little bug, it writes new ringing tones without changing their speed, it means if old melody speed was 15, new ringing tone will be same.. It`s not good when new melody is faster.. To make new ringtone speed correct use RizaPN programm named rpntone_432..

firstly, you need to understand how to work with RPNtone & basic of music notation =)

RPNtone makes melodies' tempo and transpose changed as well. Any program can convert midi format to binary format?

load midi you have made into any slot ringtone (1-38) using ffmod. ex. load into slot 38.

save your mod ... then you get a new modified fullflash.

re-open that mod fullflash with ffmod, ringtones editor, short that tone, ex. slot 38, right-click, then "save ringtone to file (ctrl-s)".

now you have a BIN file for that tone.

ps: just a simple way =)

after you load that tone into flash using ffmod, play it first ... if it sounds right, then you will get the right BIN melody file
