I am beginner at flashing Mobiles (Sl45) - GSM-Forum

Is there an anybody that cld tells me the flash version neccesity when flashing SL45.I only understand that when fiashing mobile I only need a flash file with *.bin file.Are there any other things that I have to know?Or just plug phone to pc and use unisiemens program with new version bin file read EEP/Flash (for backup) and then write new flash and backedup EEP,are these all that I have to done.

- first make an fubu with unisiemens

- than flash the latest update with winswup you don't have
to flash an fubu with unisiemens. Just make an update.

Fubu means bakingup existing flash is it correct?Or?
Unisiemens flash's everything in the phone is it?
And winswup makes with SW *.bin file only update,is it?
Do I have to check flash numbers or etc on the phone?Not flash version!
I have
Sl45i_sw52_fubu,
sl45i_fw52_fubu_by dopemaster,
sl45i_fw52_fubu_by rugge,
sl45i_fw52_fubu_by donmega!
which one of them I cld use?

1- Yes FUBU means full backup of your phone (flash & EEprom)

2- Unisiemens doesn´t flash the phone and EEprom at the same time. You must flash the phone and them the EEprom

3- Yes, Winswup update sw to your phone, not winswup sw, but the sw that you use with winswup.

4- No, you have to check the version, because downgrade may kill it and then you need to use map and log calculation to reanimate him.
TIP: If you don´t have many experience, start by upgrade (ex:v06 to v19) always up, don´t downgrade. Upgrading it may lock you phone to network, if it´s to v23 you can get some sw to unlock it, if it´s higher than v23, you´ll need to create map.

5- My advise is to make your own FUBU file. Create it with Unisiemens from an SL45 working perfectly.
