m35 ver 12 problem - GSM-Forum

I have tried to unlock a m35 ver12 but it didn't work. First I tried it with the service software.
I loaded the right x3u file and pressed unlock. But after sending application, it just stopped.
Then I tried it with the unlocker of JIC electronics. I selected ver 12 and pressed unlock.
The same story. The program stopped before it was really unlocking.
The phone is still working, but not unlocked. And the cable is allright, for example I can download the language.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is? Do I have to downgrade? If yes, which swup do I use and which ver I flash to?
I hope someone can help me.

The problem is that your M35 is with new flash chip inside. Till today there is no solution for them!

But it is ver 12. And I have unlocked several ver 12 phones succesfully.
Won't downgrading help?

You can downgrade the phone using SWUP 1.91 or 1.93, but unfortunately you can not unlock it with regular unlocking soft like x35 unlocker or JIC, because the commands are different(for new flash chip - AMD...) and that is why there is no comunication between PC and phone!!
