Member: 11416 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | My ME45 drives me crazy My ME45 was V28 out of the box, I updated it with WinSwup to V30 - everything was fine except the phone was switching off when the battery was 50% full ... no problem, you could just switch it on again and it worked down to 0% as usual. Now I wanted to upgrade it to S45i by using the step-by-step guide from www.gsm-free.com (looked like fool-proof). First I wanted to flash my V28-backup back to ensure everything is as it was originally. My backup is 4 megs (200000..600000 I guess, can't remember exactly) but !! Me idiot started flashing from 000000 ... so I guess I've damaged the 1st EEPROM aera which I learned later is at 1F0000. This was leaving my ME45 completely dead. I spent two days trying every solution I could find here and on two other major boards including but not only these ones:
ANY hints are very welcome. |
