X35: Danish language, but not danish T9 - after upgrade to v18?! - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I've just upgraded a M35 from v16 to v18.

The phone had danish language and danish T9-dictionary, but after upgrade it only has danish language, NO T9-dictionary in english?!

How come?! Is there any way to fix it - since it can't be downgraded again, right?

Please help me here, my friend who owns the phone is not quite happy... and I understand him.

What do I do?

(Version installed is 1801 - danish)

Can't anybody help me here - I really need to fix this phone.

Before I flashed it with 1801 (danish) I flashed it with version 18 without danish (but with some other languages). Can this cause the T9-dictionary (danish) to disapear?

How can I reinstall it (T9/danish).

You need to install fw16 again for to get your T9 language. This happens since language of T9 is stored in the firmware package, not in the language pack, even if you try to change the language pack, if you do it right, you will see that the phone have another language pack as the fw version lang.pack, but T9 avalaible languages will not change. <br />The only way to get the desired language pack is by re-installing fw16 (not downgrading).
