A55 no power - GSM-Forum

I try to upgrade my a55 to c55, but with freia 8 when i would like to backup my phone first i get the following messages :

COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 8
TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening COM1
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is not powered on

I use a non standard serial cable.

I read somewhere tha i have to use external battery connected to port 1 and 2 of my phone to initiate boot !?!?

so your phone is working?....you have full batery? you have press shortly the power button when....COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...??

and a new freia 9 is in town to

Yes, my phone is working well, i tried to push shortly the power-on button when freia waiting that the phone power-on.

I tried to power-on the phone before lauching the readind of the phone, and the phone was powered off ....

the cable is ok? you have tray it on another phone?

No because I have no other siemens witnthis type of connector, i opened it and see 3 cables attached to pin 2 3 and 4 of the phone connector.

i was having same prob...but. in my case the battery was not charege anaf.. the pin's ar ok

No I use a "made in china" cable
