If the phone say that is charging but is not then in most cases is a chip in the phone that control the charge that is faulty or the charging current is too low due to a malfunction of the current regulator in the charger... |

Member: 38302 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | the phone says it is charging but after some time the battery empties. charger current is 9v when not plugged in the phone. is it ok? it says on the charger it outputs 5v. please check your charger and tell me the voltage. if it's the chip, how can it be solved? perhaps battery calibration? thanks. |

Member: 17466 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi! U measure the tension (9v) and is not necessary wrong... U should check the Amps of the charger... It must be between 150 and 500 mA (0.15 to 0.5 A) ... |

Member: 17466 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | If the charger is ok then it's the chip and I don't think the battery calibration will do any good... At this time I don't know for sure what chip is responsible for charging in C55 but I hope to find out tomorrow and I'll post here... |
