Red face c55 dead after firmware downgrade help !!!


Hi,
i had an c55 v18 and started to downgrade to v14,with winswup;everything went fine 100% transmission,but postcheck failed and I could not turn on mobile anymore.Tried to upgrade to 18 with original firmware upgrade,but this one does not recognize c55 anymore,even when i press power on very often.
tried winswup v18,skipped precheck,iginition seemet to work,green background arrises,but not any further,no transmission.
can anybody help please,please

I heard you have to resolder the diode before use winswup.
I canīt help anymore.

resistor is in its place,was never removed or soldiered out

Just upgrade again to V18 or up. If the resistor is there, you should have no problems. Also check battery..

its a very new c55 3 weeks old,may be thats the problem,i still can not upgrade to v18 phone is dead,
please help

is it true that the new c55 phone hardware is not compatible with firmware v14 and less?
the only repair way is siem. service center or desolder the resistor
write bootrap with wizard 4.0 or e.g. and then run winswup,are these the only possibilties after a downgrade from v18 to v14 result --> dead phone new hardware????
