Hello, can somebody plase help me!
I have Locked my C55, ane the phone doesn't turn on anymore. I've made testpoint, but I cant repair IMEI. This is the message from freia:

COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 8
TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening COM1
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is powered on

COMM_LoadBoots : flash ids are 00890017 [00000000] - 172C
COMM_LoadBoots : phone ids are B2188AB8 [B2188AB8]
MISC_CheckFileName : 'Siemens C55 - .LOG' already exists, new filename is 'Siemens C55 - -2003.10.10-18.37.30.LOG'
O.K.

I've made map but I can't write it to my phone. I tried to flash mu phone, but i got a error message on 25%
Since then when I try to flash my phone I get always a error messege: error erasing block.... at the first block!

Can somebode please help me?!

Does your phone buzz when you try switching it on? If so, it's enough to do this:

With freia, try Unlocking -> Direct unlock no map -> Use original IMEI. The baby should work now.

If that doesn't help, find a full flash file (*.fls format, 8.0 Mb size) and write it to phone (set boot type to "test point (x5x)". Then repeat the Unlocking step. If even that fails...

hardware problem?

BTW, can you direct me to a link (or e-mail me) showing where to cut the testpoint? I have same problem with A55, TP should be the same.

hi guys, i'm newbie..

I also have c55 dead after flash with freia... i had flashed it with full flash and its alive but auto shut off after 15 second..then i flash it again but with other flash image and the phone was totally dead...can't power on even when i push on/off key while it conected to computer...these are the message i got from freia soft:

I have the same problem wiith my c55.. I seems like totaly dead.. there aren't any effect when I press ON/OFF button, and the phone doesn't make the bzzz noise..

because you erase boot now you must use old test point than full flash read log repair imei with original because you cant change it is locked create map and go

I did it!
A few days ago i repaired my C55!
I downloaded full flash for freia ( link if it can help: ftp://edward1.no-ip.com/Siemens/C55 full 00800000.zip ), then I flashed my phoene. But i couldn't flash it until I have recharged my battery with a working C55 of a friend!
Then i created a log, then map, and the imei was there again!
But with the flash my C55 worked fine, but when i want to charge it C55 turns off.
I tried with battery backup, but didn't work. Winswup didn't work too.
Then i read the software from my friend's C55 and then wrote it to phone and now it works fine!

Good luck to the others.

P.S. to KPbICMAH: It didn't make buzz when it was dameged.
