how many times can i flash phone memory - GSM-Forum

is there a no. of times that i can flash my phone memory before something hapens???
please tell me if there is a chance of something to crash or ......

i writed the memory in the last week about 10-15 times!
can that be a reason to worry me?

Hi

Do yourself a favour and check what flash IC you have and go to the manufacturers website and have a look on the datasheet and you will see you will be able to flash it plenty more times before it "breaks"

some flash chips are programmabe for 15,000 times so don't worry except that flash chip is physically dammaged
