Member: 22044 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Several questions about MT50 from beginner I have all these questions... I have an MT50 (2 weeks old) with I have no idea what kind of chipset. It has the firmware ver. 140312. First of all I unlocked it, which worked nicely. Then I managed to activate Java in it with Skylord's Java activator. OK. Then I was (and am) able to use DES to transfer files to and from the phone. Perfect! However since yesterday I have the problem, that while browsing the "My menu" at some points the phone sounds and interesting sound and immediatelly turns off! I have no idea why, and it's aweful! (Another, not that important thing is: if my SIM-card is full with SMS, but there's still room for SMS's in the phone (so I can recieve messages) and I send an SMS, then ten seconds later the phone notiofies me about that new message arrived. I assume it's the SMS saying that my message has been sent. However there arrives no SMS! There's no envelope on the display!) So what I thought: I will re-lock my phone to the network and return it to the store. But I couldn't do that! Nutzo's kSIE doesn't recognize my phone, saying "boot file 3 is not accepted." I don't know what it means. Then I thought that I could upgrade the firmware to 170312 (as I need both Hungarian language and t9), but I can't find this firmware on the net. Maybe I could turn a 170306 into 170312 but I have no idea how to do that. Should I flash the phone with the firmware that is right now in it (140312)? I don't want to damage my phone... What should I do? Please help me! Thanks a lot! |
