I need the .ini settings for Siemens Language Editor 1.4 to work with SL55 v16.

thx, KoTsK... I tried, but somehow the program does not recognize my fubu. it's a v-16 lg-5 t9-5... but i'll keep trying... if succesfull, i'll post the results and the the v20 lg-5 t9-5 i'm trying to build.

i've seen the same address you have put here, and it didn't work for me... i think it's for sl55 v14, but i have no v14 to test it... anyway, it my work for some people!!!

You can also try 'Smelter' : http://avkiev.kiev.ua/Siemens/Smelter/Smelter.rar

Then open Langpack list , 'right-click' inside and chose 'Save whole langpack' or 'Load whole langpack'.

Also if you want to make the correct entry in 'slged.ini' of language editor 1.4,
then after openinning Langpack list in 'smelter' go back to Information menu - list.
Locate 'Address of langpack' and 'Full size of langpack' and put them as the first 2 parameters in a line for that model. The rest of the line sould be as any other similar model or as the line suggested previously.

thank you a lot, dsp mobile!!! i'll try to do it to get SLGED properly set for a SL55 v20 lg_01 t9_01.

i'll delete 2 languages, and then i'll insert brazilian portuguese into the fubu. wondering if it's gonna work right.

also, i'll compile a T9 language created by T9_Base_Creator into my phone using v_klay... hope it works!

T9 packs for various languages are pretty stable, and usually don't change often for new versions.

But for LangPack you got to take the desired lang from same version. If it is from an older version of firmware it will probably not work !
Except if the total Number of strings - messages are the same for the 2 different versions there might be a chance to work...
