What characters are used in Thai font? Are they special ones? Or is it Latin, Cyrillic or similar? How are they displayed in Windows? If unicode is used - I can't help you at the moment. But you could help me and the forum to find a solution by uploading your Thai language file.

Dunno if this could help you guys, but I wanted to be able to read chinese char with my SL45i. The only way I had to is to upload a chinese firmware that is a bit different (coz chinese support and chinese input).
It was the 6688 firmware, i think... If u search on this forum, u will find how and what i did, coz i forgot a bit...
So i think if u want to read thai, u might have to find a thai firmware. I think such firmware support latin characters as well , but not special chars like é or è or ë ö

Hope this could help...
