6600 Big Problem!! - GSM-Forum

Hi all
I got here a 6600 that says Simcard registeration failed. Wheni insert simcard all works perfect but after 2-3 hours it says simcard registeration failed but Sim is good.. I've flashed fone but no help...

have any one noticed this prob??

Sim may be good, but its validy may be expired.. consult customer care..

Not @ all. Can 8 Sims be Bad @ one?? Nooooo... This thing looks surprising.. though it works sometimes about 4 - 5 hours perfecly, recieve and make calls next thing Sim Registeration Failed...

More comments and advice welcomed here...

check very well that the phone is not barred, if you are convinced its not barred, then you can format user area on the phone... or flash and choose full factory reset to be done after flashing,...

remember doing factory reset on a fully functional phone could give you contact retailer, but choose the UIn setting of FUKK FACTORY SETTING to be done automatically fafter flashing. and use the lastest flash file..

Check your phone software version. If its 4.09 you should downgrade to 3.42.
This is one of the bugs on version 4.09. Strange is'nt it? Check it and you will see.

@ Essojay,
I very sure phone is not barred cuz i even copied imei and put on DTC3 to confirm. I used phone (DTC3) with the same imei on 6600 for a day no prob at all phone works perfectly and make and recieve calls.

Although it was a lower version before with the same prob but after flashing it with a higher version the prob still remains although i will still try the same again including FORMAT USER AREA and post result..

try to change the sim card i/c
i have this problem b4 it sotf by change the simcard i/c

You may argue me as much as you want. Why do you think some o us have:
Prodigy, Griffin & Twister ?
U think we like wasting money ? No Way.
There is a Nigerian "pidgin" saying that goes this way
"If U sabi this 1, U sabi that 1 ???"

If U look around, U will see many 'pro' members some even have Twister and UFS2.
Thet are not fools.

Go ahead and flash with twister, and tell me how the customer collected back the phone undone.

Keep chasing me Thread to thread, post 2 post..... U said some of us having Twister, prodigy (Ur rusted one??), Griffin... I have flashed this fone with 2 diff flashers bu prob still remain..

Which is second flasher ???? BCOS U NEVER MENTIONED THIS EARLIER, unless U want to edit your post, then we know.
Flasher is different from flash files, I KNOW U KNOW
