Place your 6600 on a table. Make sure you press the Green button, the "*" button and the "3" button **CORRECTLY** before pressing the "ON" button. When you see your phone light up release your finger from the "ON" button and just wait for the "Formatting...." to appear on the screen.... DO NOT UNPRESS ANY OF THE OTHER BUTTONS UNTIL YOU SEE THE FORMATTING APPEAR ON THE SCREEN.

Make sure your phone is on a FLAT surface...

if u want to install a new prgram not a full format you need the pc suite connect the phone to the pc and just click on the program that you want to install ...easy

how do u install new symbian after formatting? what is flashing?
