Member: 40958 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hey jkg, This usually happens when you format your MMC with Windows. The general solution is to fix it by formatting it with a digital camera that takes MMC cards, but there is another way... A friend and I made a program to fix the cards, by writing a raw image to the windows drive. Download "N-Tools" from http://www.myngage.co.za/index.php?page=12 - you will also need an image to write to the drive, you can download an image for a 32mb card from the site. Select the image (after extracting it) as the "Source", and use your N-Gage as the target - your N-Gage must be un-plugged until prompted to plug it in (USB cable). It will tell you if it's found your N-Gage or not. After that you can click on "write" to write the image to the MMC. DISCLAIMER: Although I have tested this program on plenty of occasions, I cannot promise you that it will help, in fact it might destroy your MMC, so use it at your own risk! You can also use this program for making "backups" of your MMC (use your N-Gage as the source, and a file as target). If anyone out there has an MMC other than a 32mb, and don't mind formatting it, I could really do with some images! Please zip them before e-mailing them, the 32mb MMC image zips to 32kb!!! You can send images to [email protected] I hope this helps!!! digitalfire http://www.digitalfire.co.za http://www.myngage.co.za |

I've plugged my N-Gage to PC and I also use my card reader, anyhow your NTool cannot connect to my MMC reader and N-gage. Any ideas? No 1 know how to solve above problem yet. I also have this problem. I'm waiting for the application to solve it. Danny |
