Hi All,

I'm going to buy a 7610, but I want to know that does the software for 6600 and 3650 work with 7610?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
There a lot of software for 6600 (I had heard that 6600 and 7610 were the same OS - Symbian OS7), some of them I usually use:
-Remote S60 (version 2.00.16)
-eProfile
-eFileManager
-MsgStorer (Store message to a text file)

in what programes do u warking and do u have cabel for 7610 at all?????

7610 is S60 as 3650/7650, so all sw are compatible

3 ways of communicating.
1- BT - Faster way. I personally advice this mode
2- Irda - Good and a bit fast
3- Cable - Slow way

I have a Bluetooth, IR (but 7610 doesn't have a IR), and cable.

Correct, my mistake. 7610 don´t have IRda.

And to give complete information, 7610 is built in Series 60 platform and use OS7.

can anyone confirm what apps actually work on 7610, even ithough it has symbian os i have been told that a lot of the apps that work on 6600 & 3650 dont work on 7610, is this true??

i have irda , but i am having some problem , i am unable to send any application from irda to a 6600 but when i bring the mobile near to it , it displays the connection//
