Member: 23587 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 63 | Full Form of rf is Radio Frequency. In mobiles, Radio Frequency is used for Receiving and Sending voice signals. The RF section where it is done is the one which directly connects your mobile phone to the network of your operator and so is also called the Netwrok section. Our voice signals are in very low frequency band called Audio Frequencies. Low frequency signals can't travel much farther whereas the High Frequency signals like RF signals can travel much farther. So, our voice signals (AF Signals) are mixed with the RF signals , so that they can travel over long distances and at least reach the nearest tower of your operator. So this way, RF signals act as Carriers for our voice signals. |
