Member: 1218696 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Need advice and help,I68 I have a I68 ( CHINA ) VersionTGO1_V6.1.0 Bransh 08A TG01 Build Time 2009/10/07 IMEI 358911031195379 IMEISV;78 My problem is that every once in a while the screen will freeze up and go black. I try to hit the home button and nothing happens. It stays like that for a unknown amount of time because later on I will pick up the phone and try turning it on and it will start. But then again at random times it will happen again. Is there something I can do like a setting or something that will correct this? Then my next question is the same phone I am using my T-mobile sim card but I do not have a data plan. Should the Java work on this even though I dont have a data plan? The msn, Opera Mini, say " can not connect". Last thing is .Is ther a way for me to upgrade the firmware without buying the flash cable and firmware and is it a good idea to do this wher I will have more options? I am pretty new at this Tech stuff so forgive my questions if they seem kind of lame. I got this phone and it came with no user manule, instructions or anything on what I can or cant do with it . So I'd like to be able to use as much as I can from it. Your help and advice is much appreicated in advance. |

Member: 1218696 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | I68 newbie needs help I have a CHINA made I68 Duel sim card cell phone. Version,TG01-V6.1.0 Branch 08A TG01 Build TG01-V6.1.0-V6.0-GC0307 Serial# 1204015 Build Time 2009/10/07 19:20 IMEI 358911031195379 IMEISV:78 My problem is that every now and then the phone freezes up on me. Like if I am in the keyboard and it freezes on me I hit the home button and nothing happens. I cant get back to the menu page. The backlight will go off after a few seconds but the screen is still on the keyboard because if I receive a call it will light up and I can answer the call and talk and everything else I just cant get the screen to go back to the home menu. If I remove the battery and put it back in still nothing but I leave it set for some time and then try it again and all of a sudden it works again. Is it just a setting or do you think its a bigger problem? Also I have a T-mobile sim card but do not have a data plan would that stop the Java Msn and Mini Opera from working? I would like to Flash the phone so I have more options on it so do I need to get a special cable for it and how do I go about it? I am new to all this Tech stuff so need step by step help . Thanks in advance for your help and advice. [email protected] |
