I am new to this posting thing, but here it goes.

I currently own a TomTom One 3rd Edition GPS. I accidently deleted the maps off of it. I downloaded the USA_and_Canada v8.45.266 maps. They were 8 zipped files. I unzipped them and put them onto a DVD-R blank disk. I went onto my GPS directory under My Computer and I deleted the old maps not backing them up. I then copied the ones I downloaded to this directory. When I turn on my GPS it shows the maps I just put onto the GPS. I cannot use them because it tells me that I must activate them first.

Here is my question:

How do I activate these maps and how do I use the meta files that I see that were listed with these map files. Please help so that I can use the "USA_and_Canada v8.45.266" on my TomTom One 3rd Edition GPS.

ngage-qd say's unsafe to remove mmc,then mmc inserted.. then unsafe to remove mmc again?? i try different mmc but still the same..
